Eureka Skydeck 88 - The Edge

Skydeck 88 features 'The Edge' - a glass cube which projects three metres out from the building with visitors inside, suspended almost 300 metres above the ground. When you enter, the glass is opaque as the cube moves out over the edge of the building. Once fully extended over the edge, the glass becomes clear to the sounds of smashing glass and machine malfunctions.

Look at those places! Aren't they lovely? Especially The Edge, right? So thrilling! I found those little things in this brochure about Melbourne and Victoria Australia which I took from my mom's office yesterday. I'll post more of them later!

Till I Met You

Robin Padilla is the only Filipino actor who I find very interesting to watch. From the very first movie he made (even though I didn’t watch it yet) to Till I Met You which he collaborated with Regine Velasquez.

Here’s a summary of the story:

Luisa is a con artist who poses as a rich girl to Senor Manuel who is a Haciendero. Senor Manuel falls in love with her and takes her to his hacienda in preparation for their wedding.

There, she meets Gabriel – the right hand man of Senor Manuel who is very protective of the haciendero. Sensing that Luisa is a fake and is only after Senor Manuel’s money, Gabriel tries to blow Luisa’s cover.

However, in the process, Gabriel finds himself falling for Luisa and vice versa. They become torn between their loyalty to the old man and their love for each other.

In the meantime Senor Manuel senses what is happening between the two people he values most in his life.

They are all caught in a situation they didn’t want but could not control. But in the end the love that binds the three will free and heal the wounds of their past.

He isn’t just one of the many ephemeras of Aime. And not to forget the lines! I couldn't find any at the internet movie database so I'll just tell you the only one that I remember and found very striking:

You're the only one I loved like this. And you're the only I cannot love.

I'm having my English orals later and I am really, really nervous.

wednesday at mama's office

I was soo bored a while ago that while I was sitting on my mom’s superior chair, I saw a magnetic turtle clinging on a metallic bar and was enthralled by it. Out of Aime’s great fascination with such invention, she grabbed the item and let her pendrive to be attracted by it. As she was playing with it cheerfully, a piece of information from her computer studies came into her mind: don’t place your pendrive/diskette near magnets.. …askdhjaskhfoeiqry, crap!

Now, here I am sulking for the fact that I cannot post the latest pictures that I took days back and the fact that I have no pendrive at all! No more! None! Nil! Zero! Nadah!

nothing's as big as your first love

I remember watching Little Manhattan last September last year and Josh Hutcherson was just so adorable (until now actually). Here is a 62 words summary of the story:

In Manhattan, the 10 ¾ years old Gabe (Josh Hutcherson) finds his first love when he meets his former kindergarten mate, the eleven years old Rosemary (Charlie Ray), in his karate classes. Confused with his new feelings and with the divorce process of his beloved parents, Leslie (Cynthia Nixon) and Adam (Bradley Whitford), he experiences the delightful unknown sensation of being in love for the first time.

If you haven’t watched the movie, then I advice you that you should get up from that sit, go to the DVD store where you buy your cheap DVDs and purchase one. Or, you can just download the movie if you’re like a lazy person like me (Andy!! Download for me?? XD). So anyways, since I was so attached with the movie, I went to this internet movie database and searched for it. I copied some lines and decided to share it with you because it is so moving. Haha.

Adam (Gabe’s Dad): Once upon a time, we really loved each other, but as time went by, there just got to be all these things, little things, stupid things, that were left unsaid. And all these things that were left unsaid piled up, like the clutter in our storage room. And after awhile, there was so much that was left unsaid, that we barely said anything at all.

Gabe: Somewhere a million miles away, the girl I once loved was going down her road, and I was stuck back on mine.

The night is dull (as always) and while I was thinking, I thought of you. You have no idea how long it took me to figure out what's the email and password for you! But, its over now - I'm here and I had given you a do-over. You like it? Man it would be scary if you did really reply.

Joey!!??

So i went to the new Giant today. I dressed nicely today XD. Not the short pants and sandals but with jeans and sport shoes XP. I only do that like once a month. Anyhoo the Giant Store was disappointing. Expected it to be much larger. And the only people I saw were those bastards that I hate and Joey XD.

I dont think Joey saw me. I'm telling you, she is blind, man! I saw her family eating at RasaMas and she was standing, i went behind her and tried to call her. Stupid girl. Her phone cant be reached. And she never turned around. Owhh well, she still looks the same. No difference. Still lawa XP.

I am currently in need of South Park. I dont know why. I just have this sudden urge to watch them. XD.

So St. George's School had their cross country yesterday. Didn't do well in it. Got 13th. Was aiming for top 10. But it was okay I guess since Yellow House dominated the boys' categories.

Anyhoo, this morning. Early early morning. I woke up at 3.40am to watch football.

Manchester Utd Vs Bolton.
Tottenham Vs Chelsea.

I supported Manchester and Tottenham. Was happy with the score. Ronaldo scored twice for Manchester and they won 2 - 0. The exciting match was Tottenham Vs Chelsea. The final score was 4 - 4 XD.

The game went like this.

Tottenham 0 - 1 Chelsea.
Tottenham 1 - 1 Chelsea.
Tottenham 1 - 2 Chelsea.
Tottenham 1 - 3 Chelsea.
Tottenham 2 - 3 Chelsea.
Tottenham 3 - 3 Chelsea.
Tottenham 3 - 4 Chelsea.
Tottenham 4 - 4 Chelsea.

Was really exciting to watch. I resumed my sleep at 6am and woke up at 9.30am. Boring day today. All i did was eat, went for tuition, came home, internet, internet, tv, eat, internet, games and now im here blogging.

Daym my hair is long now. I can tie it now XD. I'm not gonna cut it anytime soon. Anyhoo I'm all out of things to say.
